Series 1:Scrapbook, 1936-circa 1941
One mixed-media scrapbook contains material largely concerning Jerre Murry's work with the Federal Art Project (FAP). A biographical sketch discusses Murry's career. Scattered letters are from the FAP and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Photographs are of Murry's works of art and of others, likely friends. Others depicted include Hideu Date, Marjorie Bronstein Murry, Benji Okubo, and John Palo-Kargas. Also found are printed materials including clippings and exhibition announcements and catalogs.
